AUTOLOGUS MESOTHERAPY

Non-Invasive Treatment

Autologus Mesotherapy with Growth Factors – αυτόλογη μεσοθεραπεία

Autologus Mesotherapy with Growth Factors – αυτόλογη μεσοθεραπείαIn recent years there has been great progress in the use of specific growth factors such as IGF1, FGF and VEGF discovered that delay the hair loss and maintaining over a longer period of life the follicular units.

It was observed  the effect of these growth factors to treat alopecia areata, scarring alopecia and its beneficial effects in androgenetic alopecia.

This revolutionary technique used in recent years in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia and the antiaging skin is called αυτόλογη μεσοθεραπεία or PRGF (Plasma Rich of  Growth Factors).

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

αυτόλογη μεσοθεραπεία was first described in 1972 by various names: autologous fibrin glue (fibrin glue), gel platelet etc.

Autologous platelet gel has 2 to 4 times greater concentration of platelets. Usually the concentration of platelets in the blood is from 150,000 to 350,000 per cubic centimeter (200.000/cubic centimeter). The PRP solution has 1,000,000 platelets per milliliter.

So we can say that PRP defined autologous concentration of human platelets in a small volume of plasma.

In PRP was found many growth factors: TGF-b (transforming growth factor beta), PDGF (platelet-derived growth factor), IGF (insulin like growth factor), VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factors), EGF (epidermal growth factor), FGF-2 (fibroblast growth factor-2).

The TGF-b increases the synthesis of type I collagen in vitro and in vivo. VEGF and FGF-2 potentially increase angiogenesis and de novo vascularization.

The result is an autologous PRP containing a biological mixture of growth factors, without the possibility of an allergical response.

How safe is the method of PRP?

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)It’s a simple blood sample at clinic. Then the blood is separated by centrifugation from the plasma rich in platelets, which contain growth factors.

Conditions of antisepsis should be strictly applied to avoid contamination.

This type of mesotherapy is unique because it does not cause an allergy because it is taken from the same person.

For the release of more growth factors ordained activate autologous platelet plasma by adding DNA, calcium chloride or thrombin. The use of these activators requires medical supervision to prevent cardiac arrhythmias and thrombosis.  Activated PRP is no longer an autologous solution and can cause an allergic reaction.

How to apply PRP

How to apply PRPPlatelet Rich Plasma application is performed by the doctor with specialized protocol with the special gun of Mesotherapy U225 which is painless.

In which situations apply PRP?

Used mainly to seasonal hair loss,  in alopecia areata,  in scarring alopecia, androgenetic alopecia in men and women and to strengthen and stabilize the effect of hair transplant.

It has also  fantastic results in anti-aging facial skin, neck and decolte.

Also used in skin tightening and the treatment of relaxation and cellulite on the legs and buttocks.

Treatment for hair loss is every 20 days (for six times), while renewing the skin of the face and neck every month (for three times).

The skin renewal continues for a long time after treatment that can reach 6 months.
